Job description

Planner provides management tools to supervision and employees via daily/weekly/monthly reports utilizing SAP and Microsoft Office tools to ensure quality of processes and integrity of system and inventory integrity.

Demand Planner Job Responsibilities

• Analyze data to identify trends in customer demand
• Develop forecasting models to predict future demand
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production plans with demand forecasts
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans accordingly
• Communicate forecast updates and recommendations to stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for process improvement

Objectives

• To develop and maintain an accurate demand forecast for the company's products.
• To work with sales, marketing, and other stakeholders to identify and understand drivers of demand.
• To track actual demand against the forecast and ensure that any variances are explained and addressed.
• To continuously improve forecasting methodology and accuracy through innovation and best practice sharing.
• To support the development of new product launches by providing input on expected demand levels.

Demand Planner Job Skills & Qualifications Needed

• The skills and qualifications needed for the role of Demand Planner include excellent analytical skills, strong mathematical skills, and the ability to use forecasting tools. In addition, Demand Planners should have experience working with data driven decision making and be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders across departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
