We are currently seeking a Logistics Manager for our office located in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall supply chain management for their designated facility. This includes monitoring storage, distribution of goods, enhancing business development, ensuring sustainability, and ensuring customer satisfaction

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
• Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, or engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Leadership of a logistics group
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of IATF & ISO
• Proficient in Plex Operating System, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Project Software
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization including customers and suppliers

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Working environment and physical requirements of this position are those typical of an office and manufacturing environment
