SUMMARY
As the Clinical Trials Logistics Specialist, you will plan, maintain and manage stock levels at Outsourced Kit Manufacturer and ACM alongside ACM purchasing and Project Management. You will be responsible for all aspects of supply ordering and supply maintenance and expiration dates.

ATTRIBUTES
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics, shipping, receiving or warehouse/materials management required.
- IATA Certification preferred.
- Microsoft Office proficiency strongly preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Support. Source new items and obtain pricing during study proposal stage or during protocol amendment. Prepare commercial invoices for outbound international shipments. Obtain price quotes for international shipments to assist in proposals. Supports Project Managers in study-set up, initiations, monthly kit tracking and study closeout activities
- Kit Operations. Order and distribute reagents to sites which cannot be handled by Outsource Kit Manufacturer. Maintain monitor and report all departmental operations and incidents as required to ACM management. Interface with ACM with Outsource Kit Manufacturer pertaining to kit and supply orders as well as contract fulfilment. Assist management in updating, developing, and implementing departmental procedures and policies.Each Month, notify sites via Blast Fax of expiring on hand CT kits. Support kit operations to partner laboratories as necessary. Source and distribute components that are not available domestically, or that can be sourced more cost effectively through the US. Resolve any shipping issues related to customs clearance, delivery rejections, or address discrepancies for both domestic and international shipments.
- Compliance. Performs all duties in compliance with Food and Drug Administration, New York State Department of Health, Good Clinical Practice, International Air Transport Association and other pertinent regulations; is knowledgeable about U. S. and foreign shipping requirements and uses this knowledge appropriately when shipping supplies and consulting with department personnel regarding specimen shipments.
