We are a physician-led practice comprised of board-certified specialists located in Dutchess and Westchester Counties. With three convenient locations, our Hematologist-Oncologists bring comprehensive patient-centered care to local communities. We offer specialized care for individuals with cancer and blood disorders.

We are seeking a Full Time LPN ( Licensed Practical Nurse) for our Poughkeepsie location with occasional coverage at our Fishkill office.

Summary:

Full Time Employee Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Job Requirements:

• Certified LPN with a minimum two years of experience in the field.
• NYS LPN License.
• EXCELLENT IV SKILLS Preferred

Job Description:

LPN Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide patient assessment

- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure

· Starting IV’s

· Drawing blood

- Administer medications as ordered and report adverse reactions to medications or
treatments.

- Monitor patients and chart medical records accurately

- Ensure that supplies, medications, and equipment are restocked and maintained so that they are ready to use

· Provide kind and Compassionate care to our patients

· Continuum patient care (Ensuring patients leave understanding their next step in care)

Experience:

· Computer Literate

· Phlebotomy is essential

o Proficient in IV’s and Blood Draws

· 2 years experience or work experience in another field relative to this career.

Education:

· Associates (Preferred)

License:

· LPN (Required)

Shift Length:

· 9:00am – 5:30pm

EMR Used: IntergaConnect
