Job description

The Lunch Coordinator performs usual lunchroom routines and practices, and is responsible for the general overall neatness of the lunchroom.
Qualifications

• Applicants must possess and provide proof of a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Ability to interface well with students, parents and staff.
• Prior experience working in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to maintain professional conduct at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Possess general knowledge of first aid
2. Possess general knowledge of reimbursable meal eligibility
3. Distribute and collect school meal student/parent surveys
4. Verify data on the School Meal Application
5. Obtain incorrect or missing data from parents/guardians
6. Determine student meal status
7. Verify students on the Direct Certification Listing
8. Maintain record of all student eligibility status
9. Update and maintain the Emergency Student Roster
10. Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
11. Collect and record monies received from staff who pre-pay for meals
12. Attend monthly safety meetings
13. Verify names of students who receive free or reduced lunch.
14. Model self-discipline and ethical behavior. Present self in a professional manner through appropriate dress, communication techniques and demeanor.
Performs other related duties as assigned for Principal or designee
