Description:Candidate must be able to perform fabrication of machined parts metallic or non-metallic in mostly a Repair and Overhaul environment of Helicopter parts. The individual must have the ability to operate manual and program/operate CNC Millers and Lathes. Additionally the candidate must have the ability to use cad software such as Mastercam or AutoCAD type software.
Qualified candidate will be expected to Set-up and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and precision grinders to make metal parts to exacting tolerances and dimensions. Must Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; determine sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup; using a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments; makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds; measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining. Ability to modify numerically controlled programs on numerically controlled (CNC) machines. Must monitor and verify quality in accordance with blueprints and technical data.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Graduate or Technical High School Graduate

8 or more years of experience in field.

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations require that you participate in a drug testing program for the following drugs: Marijuana - Opioids - Cocaine - Amphetamines - Phencyclidine or a metabolite of these drugs

Certificates. Some CAD/CAM programming and/or design preferred.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
