Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled (Mainframe assembler (ALC)) for one of our clients.

Position: Mainframe assembler (ALC)

Duration : Long Term Contract

Scope of Services

• Establish and implement an operating model for engaging 701 SMEs to minimize impact to existing technical SMEs and promote knowledge sharing with other Delivery Partners

• Create 701 SME-relationship map to identify and document inventory of technical SMEs across 701 programs

• Collaborate with appropriate 701-61 developer(s) to access mainframe source code, technical documentation and environment(s), as needed

• Support 701 AD SMEs in the technical review of 701-61 analysis findings to inform IMF retirement acceleration (i.e., 701 Modernization efforts)

• Participate in ongoing analysis collaboration sessions with ES team to document analyze 701 programs (e.g., architectural patterns, data usage, etc.)

• Respond to ES data calls related to 701-61 programs, load modules, and downstream processes to inform decommissioning activities, as needed:

• Identify metadata required to inform the modernization of 701-61 load modules and the construction of the analytical datastore

• Support the development of design patterns for the 701-61 target-state architecture

• Provide analysis input into the Decommissioning Strategy documentation, Decommissioning Roadmap, and use cases and target-state architecture for 701 Decommissioning

• Support technical design review discussions with Delivery Partner POCs to inform decommissioning activities

Minimum Skill and Experience Requirements

• These positions require minimum education of bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent and minimum of 5 years of related work experience in the following areas.

• Hands-on experience to analyze Job Control Language (JCL) and Assembly Language Code (ALC) to extract data required for data rationalization and usage analysis (Required)

• Experience working with clients on mainframe and legacy modernization initiatives.

• Working experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Business Analysis, Technical Reviews, Technology Roadmaps, Full SDLC Software Documentation.

• Experience in developing Technical Documentation, Requirement Prioritization, Developing Technical Requirements and Specifications.

• Support the development of design patterns for the 701-61 target-state architecture.

• Utilize scripts and tools to automate analysis, as needed.
