Maintenance Director
Heatherdowns Rehab and Residential Center
GENERAL PURPOSE
- Supervise the facility's day-to-day functions as it relates to the facility's interior and grounds to include staffing, supply ordering and supervision to ensure facility policy and standards are met.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Ensuring that all maintenance activities in a facility are appropriately carried out
- Maintaining and upholding the quality and standards of an organization
- Keeping a record of all maintenance and service activities conducted and maintaining a cycle of the same
- Ensuring proper working shifts of employees
- Evaluating staff performances
- Complying with all safety norms and regulations set by the industry
- Delegating work to subordinates and ensuring the timely completion of the same
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job
- Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
- Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND BEHAVIORS
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information
- Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively to residents and families and to work cooperatively with other employees at all levels
