JOB SUMMARY

Provide maintenance services as needed and /or assigned; assisting in a wide variety of maintenance activities; addressing immediate operational and /or safety concerns; assisting in skilled trade; and ensuring that the tools, materials and vehicles are maintained in good working order and are available when needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Frequently is required to stand; walk; climb stairs; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
• Regularly required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
• Frequently required to climb a ladder
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts operating machinery and noise
• Exposure to wet and humid conditions, heat, outside weather conditions, irritant chemicals

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Performs a wide variety of general and semiskilled maintenance activities (i.e. Carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Handle work requests and respond to emergencies on various systems.
• Maintain company vehicles to ensure in safe operating condition
• Maintain grounds, i.e. Mowing grass, weed –whacking, spring and fall clean up
• Snow plowing and sidewalk snow/ice removal
• Responds to emergency situations during and after hours
• Maintains heating and cooling systems and schedules outside maintenance on such systems
• Coordinates projects with outside skilled workers to make sure work is completed in a timely manner
• Janitorial duties as needed
• Perform outbound and/or inbound operations as needed
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Driver’s license
• Organizational skills to ensure productive scheduling of tasks
• Ability to life up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work from heights

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
• Trade School preferred or equivalent experience in a variety of skills, electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.
