Maintenance / Utility Responsibilities
1. Maintain a clean store for a better shopping experience for our customers. Be friendly, helpful, efficient and detail-oriented representative of the Straub’s brand.
2. Clean store floors, check-lanes, carts, restrooms, parking lot and shelves. Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals.
3. Gather and take out the trash.
4. Greet all customers, respond to customer questions/requests and assist them in a friendly and courteous manner.
5. Works with co-workers as a team.
6. To assure the safety of self, customers and co-workers by understanding and practicing store safety rules and notifying a supervisor of any potential hazard immediately. Clean up broken containers, packing materials/boxes from the sales floor or customers’ pathway immediately.
7. Maintains strict adherence to company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress.
8. Perform miscellaneous cleaning tasks assigned by supervisors and managers, substituting for absent workers and performing any additional tasks necessary to provide products and services to customers during peak periods of business.
9. Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
Requirements & Availability

• Weekend, evening, and holiday availability required.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs working in cooler/freezer storage areas including required overhead and lower shelf reaching, bending and stooping moving 50 lbs.
• Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), and field of vision.
• Must be able to perform the following physical activities: balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, and repetitive motions.
• Must be able to follow one or two-step instructions; routine, repetitive task.
• Standing work on tile or concrete for duration of shift.
