Maintenance Manager Job, Dillon, SC

Arclin USA is seeking talent for a Maintenance Manager at our new Dillon, SC location. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position resides in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is responsible for managing the department which is responsible for the maintenance, reliability, repair and installation of all manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure the efficient and continuous functioning of the plant.

Maintenance Manager Job Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise the hourly skilled maintenance technicians (less than ten) in the improvement and maintenance of plant equipment, buildings, machinery, utilities, etc. (to include training, development, coaching, scheduling, and, as necessary, addressment of complaints and subsequent disciplinary action)
• Assist with hiring and orienting new employees; develop self and staff to ensure personal and professional growth
• Schedule and assign preventative/predictive & corrective maintenance utilizing CMMS. Work including hydraulics, electrical (Programmable Logic Control (PLC)), pneumatic, power-transmissions, welding, machining, fabrication, vibration analysis, balancing, alignment, oil analysis and non-destructive testing (NDT)
• Develop, implement, and report KPIs for maintenance work and asset health
• Troubleshoot various types of equipment and controls
• Install new equipment such as pumps, motors, VFD’s, rollers, valves, pipes, bearings, belts, agitators etc.
• Function as Project Manager for multiple, concurrent, small-scale Capital Expenditure Projects as well as Preventative Maintenance projects, FMEA, and RCAs
• Develop and improve a contractor management system, to include the following: Approved Contractors and performance, Method Statements, Lifting Plans, Safety Records, etc.
• Maintain budgetary control of maintenance department
• Maintains good work practices and works safely and in compliance with all HSE regulations and Arclin policies. These include Energy Isolation, Electrical Safety, Hot Work, Confined Space, and Fall Protection

Maintenance Manager Job Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance required; Paper, Tissue, Non-Woven, Coating, Engineered Wood/Panels, Printing, or Chemical processes a plus.
• Experience working with and troubleshooting Control Systems, PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred), and VFD’s
• On call - carries a cell phone and responds to after hour emergencies
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Self-motivated and directed and able to work with a minimum of supervision
• Ability to operate safely in a manufacturing environment; this may include, but is not limited to potentially lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for extended periods of time bending, crouching, stooping, rotating, climbing stairs, or any combination of the aforementioned, etc
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $79,900.00 - $119,900.00 per year
