CPM has an opening for an experienced Maintenance Technician in our manufacturing facility in Crawfordsville, IN. We are looking for a detail-oriented person with strong mechanical aptitude, electronics background, and proficient organizational skills.

Responsibilities and Position Summary:

• Work Safely, follow designated safety procedures, Lock Out Tag Out
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines and other types of industrial equipment
• Repair all aspects of industrial equipment: Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic
• Basic industrial electrical work to perform repair tasks
• Performs preventive maintenance tasks; repair and replace parts as needed
• Works with contractors and service technicians
• Advises Maintenance supervisor when repair parts are needed to perform tasks
• Perform basic facility repairs as needed
• Other duties may be assigned
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• Experience with repairing CNC machines and other industrial equipment
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic machinery
• Ability to perform basic industrial electrical repairs
• Experience with toolroom equipment and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Ability to use and have basic computer skills
• Ability to read and understand precision measuring tools
• Clear understanding of industrial safety measures
• Must be able to work independently and with little supervision

Desired Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Fanuc controls
• Technical degree or certifications of training
• Ability to operate all common maintenance equipment
• Ability to read and interpret PLC and electrical schematics is a plus
• Experience with industrial chiller or cooling systems is a plus
