Maintenance Technician


Our Maintenance Technicians regularly inspect equipment, structures, material for wear and tear, and are accountable for completing work orders and ad hoc repairs assigned to them.

Maintenance Technician Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $45,000.00 /annually
  • Weekend work required
  • Third Shift (Sunday through Saturday from 05:45pm to 06:15am)
  • Perform daily maintenance tasks and troubleshooting of packaging and production equipment and systems, including: extruder, dryers, high speed packaging including cartoners, baggers, case-packers, palletizers, low pressure boilers, thermal fluid process heaters, material handling systems, water chillers, compressed air systems, and HVAC systems
  • Partner with operations and maintenance teams to solve repetitive problems, complete preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance responsibilities in a safe, effective, and compliant manner
  • Partner with operations to learn operating systems, while providing training on mechanical components


Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution and one or more of the following:
  • Possession of valid Oregon Millwright Manufacturing card/license
  • Two-year Associate's Degree or higher in technical field (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, electro-mechanical, controls and automation, etc.)
  • Completed apprenticeship in mechanic, mechanical maintenance, or electro-mechanical, electrical, or related field Military training and experience in a relevant Military Occupational Specialty (MOS)
  • 2+ years hands-on experience in a mechanic, maintenance, electrical, electro-mechanical, controls and automation role
  • 1+ years’ experience as operator in a food manufacturing facility
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
