POSITION SUMMARY

Upkeep and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of company premises. You will be relied upon to keep our facilities in good condition by doing various jobs.

DAILY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Performs maintenance of facilities and property including the preventive maintenance, proactive repair, and reactive maintenance issues as they arise
• Responsible to complete assigned tasks and projects in a highly effective, efficient and safe manner
• Trouble shoot mechanical problems
• Relocate / move office equipment as needed
• Keeps CEO informed of facility, staff and member issues and concerns as they happen
• Know emergency procedures – report accidents or injuries and completes necessary reports in detail in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the Y’s property committee to ensure all needs are met
• Help with soliciting bids for large maintenance projects
• Assist with the set-up of special events
• Keep parking lot clean
• Keep Men’s locker room and second building clean and orderly by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down the countertops, disinfecting of sink and toilets daily, emptying of trash and refilling of supplies in both areas
• To keep and maintain accurate records
• To assume other duties as assigned by the CEO

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Requires ability to sit, climb, kneel, crouch, run, and frequent standing and walking Occasional lifting, carrying, pulling and pushing up to 50 lbs of equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to work indoors and outdoors
• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
• Child Abuse Prevention Training

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
