Our well established and growing Food Processing Client isPARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Maintenance Technician I for this excellent DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY!

Salary: $24.50 to $31.00 Per Hour / DOE

Location: Merced County (these positions are located within Merced County)

Hours: Will be Day Shift for 30-90 days for training, then most likely will switch to 3rd shift, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am.

• Performs routine maintenance and inspection of the production process equipment, the utility support systems and the production rooms.
• This may include, but will not be limited to, water treatment systems and analysis, boilers and operation, refrigeration systems and components, proper welding practices (Sanitary A-3 standards), master of PLC control systems and related components, proper electrical practices (codes), and pumps.
• Trouble shooting equipment problems and make necessary repairs as needed.
• Support the review, understanding and compliance of all programs, policies and procedures contained in the Food Safety and Quality Management System.
• Minimum High School Diploma with some Electrical or Mechanical vocational training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associates Degree a plus. Hazwoper Certification, Emergency Response Procedures, First Aid/CPR and SCBA use.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with emphasis on PC based programs.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and ladder logic.
• Ability to trouble shoot and understand the PLC based equipment at a Journeyman level.
• Understand the English language and follow instructions in written form. High Knowledge of PLC’s, VFD’s, instrumentation. Interpret blue prints, schematics and ladder logic.
