Responsibilities:
Summary

The maintenance department is currently seeking a multi-skilled maintenance technician. To be eligible to apply for this opening, you must have completed an Associates Degree in maintenance or an engineering related field of study or have at least three years of industrial maintenance experience as a multi-skilled technician. Your job responsibilities during this period must include troubleshooting and repair of automated machines.

Job duties will be that of a maintenance technician. Duties will include, but are not limited to, machine troubleshooting and repair of both mechanical and electrical components. Employee will also be responsible for the completion of both preventive and predictive related maintenance items as necessary to maintain equipment and facilities related items. Organizational skills are a must.
Qualifications:
Additional prerequisites are as follows:

1. Candidates must have a proven track record of safe work practices during the performance of their assigned duties.
2. Through an interview process, demonstrate a working knowledge of pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components and theory associated with each type.
3. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic measuring devices.
4. Must be able to perform any task involving walking, bending, stretching, lifting at least 40 lbs, climbing ladders, and carrying various materials.
5. Be able to work with chemicals, oils, grease, and dirt while performing maintenance tasks.
6. Demonstrate the ability to interface with other employees in a positive, constructive, problem-solving manner. This will be evaluated from work history and interview process.
7. Candidates must have the ability to support our production operation in all areas including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics. A working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting is required.
8. Experience in the use of lathes, grinders, and milling equipment is a plus.
