POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Under direction, supports the operation of the maintenance department and the operation and function of other departments by maintaining, repairing, replacing and improving the operation of facilities and equipment. Conducts planned maintenance, testing and documenting to meet all required codes and standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under direction, completes assignments and ensures satisfactory completion of all work including associated paper work and documentation.
- Performs a variety of maintenance duties including but not restricted to replacing light bulbs/filters/batteries, assist with carpentry, minor plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs, and minor repairs to mechanical equipment, furniture and appliance moving.
- Drive trucks and electric carts as needed.
- Provide 24 hour emergency maintenance on-call assignments as scheduled in rotation with other employees.
- Provide accurate and readable documentation and information on logs, time sheets, forms and other written communication.
- Perform daily inspections throughout the campus as assigned.
- Conduct and document tests on life safety equipment and system required by code as assigned.
- Perform preventative maintenance as assigned.
- Assist with pool and spa maintenance as assigned.
- Assist with personnel training as assigned.
- Assist in the set-up of special events.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Valid California drivers license with good driving record.
