Job Responsibilities

• Record/log and maintain maintenance records and reports
• Work off of work orders, drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams in addition to written and verbal instructions
• Install new or relocate existing machinery, equipment, or other accessories
• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, or other production systems
• Tear down, troubleshoot faulty operation, repair or replace worn or defective parts; reassemble and adjust for proper operation
• perform preventative maintenance on all machinery, equipment, facilities
• Install switches, lighting fixtures, and replace fuses and faulty wiring
• Maintain and repair plumbing, roofs, floors, walls, and parking facilities
• Maintain grounds and keep outside facilities and structures in proper conditions
• Repair plant and office structures, and furnishings
• Use forklift, pulleys, and other lift equipment as necessary to move and positions parts and materials
• Setup and operate grinders, drill presses, and other metal working tools to make and repair parts
• Detect Faulty equipment, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervision
• Perform duties of electric/acetylene welding and torch cutting

Job Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent

o Must be able to perform basic math
o Must be able to read and write fluently

• Must be able to work any shift
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Basic Mechanical Skills

Physical Demands

• Regularly walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear
• Frequently stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Regularly lift/move up to 40 lbs.
• Regularly be on your feet for extended periods of time up and exceeding 8 hours
• Have good vision of close, far, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
