HAZA Group (Franchisees of Wendy's and Taco Bell) is seeking a Maintenance Technician. Under the direction of a Lead Maintenance Technician, the Maintenance Techwill work independently to maintain the facility and equipment for approximately 45 Taco Bell’s restaurants in and around the New Jersey area. Technician will complete necessary repairs and perform preventive procedures in a manner responsive to customer/employee safety and to preserve company assets in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience repairing and servicing commercial restaurant equipment (such as walk-in refrigerator/freezers, fryers, etc).
• Active HVAC certification and Refrigeration certification a plus.
• Strong HVAC experience a plus.
• Valid DL in good standing (to operate company vehicle)
• Ablility to work rotating shifts and flexibility to work on-call when needed.
• Experience and knowledge of the Work Order system: Corrigo or OfficeTrax
• Ability to do interior light painting and dry wall repairs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds during a work shift and lift up to 80 pounds on occasion.
• Have demonstrated knowledge of refrigeration of various sizes.
• Have extensive knowledge of commercial AC and Heating systems and commercial plumbing (with copper and PVC).
• HS Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced course completion from a technical college a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Completes repair orders as assigned. Gives priority items preference and advises supervisor of any delays.
• Inspects building and equipment upon arrival at each location for any issues that need to be addressed.
• Performs maintenance on restaurant equipment and repairs the equipment to meet company standards.
• Maintains inventory of parts, tools, equipment, and other items.
• Update Preventive Maintenance System work order records: dates, initials and write comments in the Maintenance Workbook as required.
• Ensures that building and equipment are maintained in a safe manner, and that all repairs are made as specified by manufacturer.
• Complies with company policies on safety at all times while performing work efficiently while protecting self, fellow workers and customers.
• Experience and knowledge of the Work Order system – Corrigo or OfficeTrax
• Ability to do interior light painting and dry wall repairs.
• Experience in resolving electrical and plumbing repairs, carpentry and painting.
• Ability to travel day trips in and around the area, PA, NY, CT and MD.
• Other related duties as assigned by Lead Maintenance Technician.
