Basic Job Functions:
- Teammate will be required to work in a team setting, or individually on a broad range of projects.
- Teammate will be responsible for preventative maintenance on all production equipment, and facility projects.
- Must be able to work long hours with no notice, able to work on multiple shifts, and during extreme temperature.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience with Industrial preventative maintenance, inspection and repair,
- Advanced knowledge in diagnoses of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic energy systems.
