Timbercreek Apartments is a 9-building apartment complex built in 1974, and was acquired by Mercy Housing in 2001 as part of the Omaha Housing Authority Housing Replacement Project. The property features 180 multifamily apartments.

The successful Maintenance Technician will complete preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers. You are part of the maintenance team, responsible to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment.

This position is not eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

Pay: $21.00-22.00/hour DOE

Duties:

• Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Cleans up after work is complete.
• Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
• Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

• Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions.
• Electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Flexible to change work plans.
• Maintain a professional personal appearance.
