Jupiter, the second restaurant from the team behind King, will celebrate the generous simplicity of regional Italian food and drink in New York’s iconic Rockefeller Center. Located at the North Side of the rink, the restaurant will become an essential part of Midtown’s new “town square” with its focused menu of antipasti and pasta, aperitivo and wines, and King’s signature warm hospitality.

Jupiter is looking for a passionate, kind and thoughtful Maitre D to join our team! The Maitre D’ at Jupiter plays a lead role in guest relations and the restaurant’s door operations.

We are looking for an individual who is committed to creating a loyal group of regulars, has a great understanding of how to manage a guest book and enjoys the challenge of seating a buzzy dining room. In addition to being a leader in the guest relations team, there will be additional administrative tasks including email and phone correspondence with guests.

This position is great for you if:

• Are organized with your emails and have excellent written skills
• Are an excellent verbal communicator and can lead small teams
• You think on your feet and have strong problem solving skills
• Can develop a good rapport and personal relationship with guests
• Are someone who has a great memory for names and faces
• Have experience in a Maitre D position at another 2+ NY Times or Michelin related restaurant

Position is $30.00/hour, plus tips, minus the tip credit memo.
