Overview: Lug Away Junk Removal is a 5 Star Junk Removal Company servicing The Greater Boston Area including MetroWest. Our services range from cleaning out a garage, hauling away construction debris and tearing down old sheds.

We pride ourselves in being “The team that Get's IT Done!” To ensure team members become and remain this way, we have anOperations Manager in Training position focused on Building Leaders and Pursuing Growth while providing 5 Star Service. The Operations Manager in Training will lead from the front with our Mission Statement and Guiding Principle. They will be assigned a Mentor to oversee their training so that they can complete the training and fulfill the role of Operations Manager.

With regards to Responsibilities while working in the field, they are listed below:

• Morning Huddle is at 6:35am; team members must arrive on time or early.
• Uniform is a Black Polo, Tan/Khaki pants, Tan/Brown/Black Boots, Lug Away ball cap only, Black Sweatshirt and Winter Coat provided
• Professionally participate in Roll Call
• Participate in Washing Dirty Trucks with Power Washer at Supervisor’s Discretion
• Complete Truck Checkout/Checkin Checklist
• Safely Operate Truck within the parameters outlined in the Driver/Remover Manual
• Secure Dump Doors & Latches, Check overhead before engaging Tarp, Safely Use Ramp
• Mark OMW, START, Upload Price and FINISH inside our CRM Workiz
• Complete all tasks listed for the On the Job & End of Day Checklist
• Truck should be back in service with 3/4 of a tank of gas or more
• Clear out Cab of all Trash and Wipe Down inside of Cab before leaving shift
• Help Team Leader complete, and learn to fill out, the End of Day Report
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Basic Requirements:

• Must be able to lift over 90 lbs. easily
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be 18 or older

1st 12 Weeks of Training:

• Ability to operate trucks properly safely within first 4 weeks
• Sign off on Driver & Remover Manual within first 4 weeks
• Read Extreme Ownership and Pass Extreme Ownership Quiz within first 4 weeks
• Team Leader Manual Signed Off within 8 Weeks
• Team Leader Certified within 12 weeks

Compensation Package:

• Operations Manager in Training Starting Pay: $48,000/yr or $20/hour DOE
• Veteran Hiring Bonus: $300 ($50 Paid Bi-Weekly after completion of 1st Full Pay Period)
• 4 Week Probationary Completion Bonus: $300
• 2 Weeks Paid Time Off (Add’l Days earned through Time in Service)
