The Manager, IT Data & Analytics position will develop and implement processes for effective data management and reporting in support of Heath’s data strategy. This position will manage the processes, people and technologies surrounding data governance and management, BI solution delivery, data modeling and architecture, and continuous business process improvement. The IT Data & Analytics Manager will work closely with leaders across all business units to support and implement high-quality technological solutions. This individual will provide thought leadership that progresses the Company’s initiatives surrounding data quality and availability, advanced data modeling, predictive analytics, and data reporting strategies to interpret key findings from internal and external data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support data driven decision making. Additionally, as a working manager, this individual will lead and manage the Company’s data governance, change management/deployment, integrations environment and internal development efforts while driving consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for the IT Data Management team.

• Lead cross-functional projects employing existing and/or new advanced technological solutions to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of data analytics tools, reporting systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
• Provide thought leadership and strategies around the Company’s data architecture and roadmap.
• Directs and oversees the design and development of systems used for managing data such as data warehouses, data stores, and other business intelligence systems. Responsible for maintaining and monitoring the data systems to ensure they meet organizational requirements
• Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
• Train, develop and supervise an IT Data Management team to include BI development, data governance and IT business analyst.
• Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering, visualization, and communication deliverables.
• Examine, interpret, and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership across multiple business units.
• Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
• Develop and implement controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards and organizational expectations are met.
• Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, processes, technology, budget and business within the department as it relates to the needs of the overall organization and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.
• Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.
• Learn functionality of relevant business application systems to generate ideas for potential solutions to requests

Knowledge , Skills and Expereince

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in relevant IT Data Science, Data Engineering and Data Analytics roles, and at least 2+ years in a Data Team Management position.
• Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
• Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
• Experience in one or more data science related programing languages, such as Python, R, etc.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
• Experience working with and creating databases/data lakes and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.
• Experience working with cloud data platforms, including, but not limited to, MS Azure tools.
• Experience managing and deploying data governance processes.
• Experience managing projects around the implementation of technology solutions/applications through to effective user adoption/change management procedures
• Proven problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously.

• Experience with solutions and tools surrounding predictive analytics and artificial intelligence.
