Manager, IT Product Management

The Guest and Loyalty domain is the team managing Choice Privileges, our loyalty and rewards program with over 55 million members. As a key member of our Guest and Loyalty domain, your colleagues come to you for answers regarding business functionality, the underlying IT architecture supporting it, and why it exists. You and your team of business system analysts will interact with all parts of the Choice Hotels organization to develop ideas for new business functionality, ensure the solution architecture addresses enhancement requests, and deliver solutions for your customers.

Your Responsibilities
- You create order out of disorder.
- You are the subject matter expert for the business functionality supported by your domain.
- You articulate complex functionality in business functionality terms as well as IT architectural terms.
- You may participate in all phases of our software development life cycle.
- You contribute to project requirements specification and architectural design.
- You guide development teams on the functional behavior changes required to the IT architecture.
- You ensure the implemented IT solution addresses the business requirements.
- You manage a team of business system analysts embedded in and supporting development teams.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in business computer science, or related field, from a four-year college or university, or a combination of equivalent education and/or work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in loyalty program analysis or product management.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience leading a team.
- Ability to develop strong organizational relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft tools {Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word}.
- Proficient in Agile development tools such as Jira or Rally.
- Proficient in business requirements gathering and documentation.
- Proficient in reading and writing API specifications.
- Demonstrates key competencies including:

Your Team
This is a leadership role that will report to the Sr. Director of IT Product Management. You will have between 2 and 4 direct reports and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our IT Product Manager for Guest and Loyalty, you may either be based remotely or be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art technology hub in Scottsdale, AZ. In October 2021, Choice opened a newly constructed world class technology center.
As a remote-based associate, working from your home office, you will be required to connect virtually with Choice team members and leadership on video via Zoom, with possible periodic travel in-person to our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide offices in Rockville, MD, Scottsdale, AZ, or St. Louis Park, MN.
As an associate in Scottsdale, AZ you will be working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtual from your home office the remaining days. We provide flexibility and encourage ongoing communication with your leadership to establish expectations about your unique needs.
