Nappies Food Service®, an independent food distributor located in Oakdale Pennsylvania, is looking for a Warehouse Professional to lead our overnight truck loading team. This is a full-time position with full benefits!

As a Third Shift Manager you would be overseeing 9 to 10 employees Sunday through Thursday nights. Our overnight management team works along side our team coaching and guiding them to ensure that our customers orders are correct and properly loaded onto our trucks for delivery the next day. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential to the success of this position.

This is a 50-hour work week schedule starting at approximately 9:00 p.m. and finishing up by 7:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday with Friday and Saturday’s off.

Starting pay range is $22 to $26 per hour based on experience plus overtime! ($64,000 to $75,000 annually)

In This Role You Will

• Be Responsible for the overnight operations of the warehouse
• Coach and lead a team of 8 to 10 overnight warehouse employees loading ordered items into refrigerated delivery trucks
• Develop and train your team on how to properly load a truck, operate motorized pallet jacks, riders and work around forklifts
• Analyze and problem solve
• Lead your team by assessing their skills, assign tasks, coach and provide feedback which includes disciplinary action if needed
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following policies and procedures in addition to minimizing losses due to damaged product and equipment

What You Will Have to Offer

• 3 years of warehouse experience with a minimum of 1 year of warehouse management/supervisory experience, preferably in logistics, operations management or supply chain
• Leadership skills with the ability to effectively achieve results through others
• Current valid Driver’s license, Box truck experience a plus
• Must be available to work a Sunday through Thursday Schedule
• The ability to perform the physical requirements needed for the position including the ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment, adapt to seasonal changes and temperature variations
• Ability to operate and maneuver warehouse equipment, including, but not limited to pallet jacks, forklifts and riders
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products and computer skills
• High School diploma or equivalent Associate Degree or higher preferred
