The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking a Manufacturing Associate Manager to join our mission in Silverdale, WA!

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing more than one functional area of manufacturing and functional checkout.
  • Oversite of the team responsible for all Preventative and Corrective Maintenance for Material Handling Equipment.
  • Manage plans and schedules related to uptime/downtime for responsible equipment.
  • Staff and manage technical proficiency levels to ensure a trained, qualified, skilled workforce.
  • Foster customer relations building rapport and confidence between the sister facility, local government and HQ personnel.
  • Foster an environment where the diverse talents and perspectives of our people power innovative solutions for our customers and drives business success.
  • Help employees and the organization move effectively and efficiently through change by facilitating implementation and acceptance.
  • Adjust quickly and effectively to new strategies, business models, goals, or the customer's changing priorities.
  • Drive focus toward continuous process improvement, corrective action and expeditious implementation of robust, relevant corrective action plans.
  • Resolve complex technical issues and deliver quality products.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience leading multiple teams.

  • Experience with basic maintenance of Material Handling Equipment.

  • Experience with business metrics driving performance (cost, schedule, quality).

  • Interim Secret clearance required prior to start. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Cannot be a dual citizen.
Desired Skills:
  • Ability to understand blueprints/drawings/schematics, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation.

  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize assignments.

  • Ability to create, monitor, and report on operational metrics.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)

  • Experience leading multiple teams to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $86,700 - $166,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
