3rd shift hours are as followed: Sunday - Thursday from 10pm to 6am

*Must be open to working overtime as necessary*


Summary of position

This position is responsible for operating production equipment, processing product subassemblies and manufacturing final products by following standard operating procedures, work instructions and current good manufacturing practices (cGMP). Technicians cross train on multiple work stations and frequently rotate between stations as needed to meet production schedules.


Essential functions and duties

  • Adheres to all applicable regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety, environmental and quality compliance.
  • Operates production equipment according to current work instructions and station manuals.
  • Cleans and inspects product subassemblies.
  • Fabricates, finishes, cleans and sorts final products and accessories utilizing station specific tools.
  • Collaborates with leads, managers and co-workers to meet production schedules.
  • Electronically logs production batches for each assigned station.
  • Stays current on all training for each assigned station.
  • Wears applicable personal protective equipment.
  • Maintains cleanliness of production equipment, work station, tools and personal protective equipment.
  • Follows safety rules and maintains personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Follows manufacturing access rules.
  • Accurately records and reports information as required.


Non-essential functions and duties

  • Assembles packaging for and packages finished products.
  • Cleans assigned areas after each shift.
  • Other duties may be assigned, directed or requested.

  • Entry level - no previous experience required
  • Basic computer skills preferred


Physical requirements:

The requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee:

  • Must be able to observe and hear warning signs and signals within all areas of the company.
  • Must be able to stand, walk and/or sit up to 10 hours a day (with periodic breaks allowed).
  • May be required to occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs. and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • May repeatedly lift up to 20 lbs. (several times an hour).
  • Must be able to turn one’s body, bend down, squat, move hands and upper extremities frequently through the day.
  • Will frequently have repetitive hand movements including using scissors for several hours at a time.
  • Employee must be able to wear synthetic gloves for hygiene reasons.
  • Employee must be able to wear protective eye wear.
  • Employee must be able to wear protective hearing gear.
  • Employee must be able to wear toe protection.
  • Employee must be able to wear a hairnet and/or beard net as required.
  • Vision ability required by this job includes close vision and the ability to remain focused on small work pieces for extended periods of time.


Language skills

Ability to read and interpret training documents, safety rules, operating manuals, maintenance instructions and procedural documents.


Mathematical skills

Ability to calculate figures and measurements. Ability to quickly perform simple calculations while performing tasks related to specific work parts.


Reasoning ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to apply reason to problems such as determining the correct sequence of actions to take when repairing a work piece.


Required reporting

This position is responsible for reporting of the following metrics on a regular basis:

  • Parts and/or batches processed.
  • Other reports and information as required.

  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment.
  • The employee is expected to operate machinery with moving parts.
  • The employee may occasionally be exposed to dust.
  • Based on station assignment, the employee may be exposed to water, heat, cured resins, soap and disinfectants.
  • The noise level in the work environment is consistently moderate.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Must be able to stay working at a given station, standing or sitting for hours at a time.
