Marine Service Advisor

GSPS Marine, located in Gulf Shores, AL and is the fastest growing marine dealership on the Gulf Coast. We are now hiring for a full-time Marine Service Advisor. The Marine Service Advisor will work face to face and over the phone with customers offering Exceptional Customer Service. Service experience in the Marine field is preferred and strong communication and customer service skills are required.

Marine Service Advisor Responsibilities:

· Answering phones and scheduling service or warranty work appointments.

· Provide accurate estimates for all the services or repairs recommended.

· Verifying warranty Coverage

· Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explaining in detail what is covered under warranty and what is not, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.

· Enters repair orders accurately into the computer

· Work Closely with Parts and Sales Departments

· Assists the Service Manager with other operational and administrative duties.

Marine Service Advisor Requirements:

· High school education or equivalent

· 1+ years in service as a Marine Service Advisor is required

· 1+ years servicing Mercury, Suzuki and Yamaha Engines are preferred

· Boating experience is a plus

· Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills are required.

· Basic computer skills

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills

· Be able to multitask in a fast-moving environment

· Good understanding of mechanical/technical aspects of Marine Outboards

· Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record

PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE

· Schedule:Tuesday - Saturday, 9AM - 5:30PM

· Waiting Period Applies for Benefits

Job Type: Full-time
