Job Summary

Drive market development strategy and customer technical activities for the Flex Pack Industry using common processes and decision criteria to execute on SABIC Petrochemicals strategic priorities, resulting in the develop of key customers in the North America Region. Identify new applications within the Flexible Packaging industry, and assist new product development to Increase SABIC’s market share. Support SABIC's GCGV product portfolio by understanding market, application needs and developments as well as building strong relationships at key OEM’s, customers and system suppliers. Development of differentiated & HAV (high added value) product portfolio and market implementation of new application and product solutions to enhance business growth, i.e. COHERE™, SUPEER™. Role requires integration and multidisciplinary project-based collaboration between Technology & Innovation, Application Development, Sales and Business Management. Collaborate interdependently and align with global MD&TM peers to prioritize and optimize global resource utilization and define/execute common business processes and objectives. Technical account management for broad range of customers and products. Identify and initiate new LLDPE leads/opportunities. Along with GCGV offerings, have the ability to leverage TRUCIRCLE™ sustainability portfolio to support SABIC's circularity ambitions in AMR region.

How You Can Be the Impact

(Job Responsibilities)

• Develop new customers by introducing and promoting SABIC existing and new products with technical know-how.
• Coordinate and conduct trials and testing to evaluate new and existing products; consolidate feedback and result.
• Acquire first-hand knowledge on new trends in products and technology by maintaining close relationship with customers.
• Formulate required product portfolio changes to meet current market trends / demands.
• Analyze & consolidate technical market trends & opportunities & feedback to BU and PM.
• May need to wear many hats, drop, pick and prioritize tasks/projects based on business needs.
• Proactively engage with customers, troubleshoot and solve product and/or processing problems at customer sites.

What Matters to SABIC

(Job Requirements)

• Advanced technical degree and/or related experience; Marketing & Sales experience/training; Working knowledge of statistical concepts and tools
• Ideal candidate would have 8 - 15 years of industry experience working in blown/cast film extrusion for a polymer supplier or film converter
• Language: English
• Strategy planning and implementation
• Value creation, prioritize tasks and lead cross-functional teams to ensure resources are used effectively
• Ability to coach and mentor less experienced engineers
• Team player (developing, motivating, building successful diversity teams & relations)
• Driving for success, planning and organizing, hold people accountable
• Ability to energize others and take decisions based on limited information.
