Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining communication between iTi and its clients- existing and potential. This position requires experience in external and internal, as well as interdepartmental communications experience. This position will support the company’s marketing strategies and initiatives by focusing on brand awareness, driving customer growth, improving brand positioning, ROI and generating revenue.
This person needs to model and act in accordance with iTi’s mission, vision and core values at all times.
The following key accountabilities ensure the critical success of this position:
40% Responsible for designing and delivering Content Creation, Implementation, Analysis and Performance Evaluation.
  • Develop and implement content strategy to increase SEO efforts to ensure higher visibility and for increase lead generation.
  • Write, proofread, edit, publish and promote excellent content for SEO ratings, internal and external branding purposes including the company website.
  • Create marketing and promotional materials in both print and electronic format.
  • Coordinate efforts between our freelance content writers, proofread, edit and publish the produced content on the appropriate media platforms in a timely manner.
  • Conduct competitive and SEO content research and analysis to improve our rankings and enhance Return On Investment(ROI).
  • Create and implement performance metrics for SEO, and other relevant media platforms, measure, monitor, analyze and increase performance.

30% Develop and manage Social Media Channels and Advertising to ensure maximum exposure and higher return on social media budget
  • Identify, evaluate, select and monitor the most relevant social media channels.
  • Participate in the creation of and maintain an up-to-date social media marketing plan.
  • Moderate, oversee our presence on relevant social media sites
  • Raise brand awareness and protect brand equity by executing a social marketing campaign using the most appropriate social media channels
  • Develop and implement marketing communications and advertising campaigns through social media outreach and content creation, as well as analyze trends and results on the same channels.
  • Utilize multiple approaches for social media lead generation strategies with objectives, targets, and measurements.

20% Execute Public Relations, Event Management and Email Marketing strategies for maximizing iTi exposure and lead generation
  • Implement Public Relations strategies and approaches to liaise with the media, advertising agencies, and prospects to maximize ROI and revenue growth.
  • Actively participate in social and networking groups to ensure constant exposure to new marketing strategies and methodologies that can boost iTi reach broader customer base
  • Design and launch email marketing campaigns through the company newsletter as needed.
  • Research, arrange, coordinate and participate in events as required.
10% Ensure ongoing proactive personal and professional growth to contribute to enhancing iTi brand.
  • Proactively update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities: reading professional publications, attending webinars, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations etc.
  • Attend at least one digital/traditional marketing conference per year to understand and bring back latest marketing and social media knowledge to the organization
  • Collaborate with teams and departments to ensure marketing and social campaigns are effective to achieve company goals
  • Develop knowledge on data analytics and analysis tools and methodologies to gain greater insights into primary and secondary data sources.
  • Analyze data and share findings and learnings with leadership team and others at iTi.
  • Always explore different ways of enhancing the performance of iTi marketing and social media efforts.
Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors:
  • Exceptional knowledge of marketing communications and business processes with minimum of 2 years’ experience in communications strategy development.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, editing experience preferred.
  • Proven social media and networking expertise, including advertising.
  • At least 3+ years’ experience in SEO content writing and/or editing for all media platforms.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects proactively
  • Innovative and creative, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Experience with graphic design software (Adobe Suite), Zoho CRM, HTML preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree: Major or Minor in Communications, Journalism, Business, PR, Marketing or related field, or proven equivalent work experience
