As a Content Strategist for our global beauty and spa brand you will join the Marketing team to oversee all aspects of content strategy and creation. Your work will support digital, print, sales and trade show experiences for B2B and DTC including partners such as Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, and Waldorf Astoria.

We are looking for an accomplished storyteller with a strong, fashion forward creative eye to drive high performing content. Five years of marketing experience in beauty, spa, or wellness and a deep love for the beauty industry is a requirement of the position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain a strategic content plan for D2C and B2B channels, always on-campaigns and product launches
  • Conceptualize content, manage briefs, and lead content creation projects with internal and agency teams, with a strong focus on effectively telling the brand story
  • Coordinate content production and promotions with agency and internal teams, overseeing copywriting, design, photography and video production
  • Evaluate and optimize content delivery systems across all channels, including D2C website merchandising and B2B sales collateral
  • Write and edit copy for marketing collateral including emails, social content, blogs, P.R. and press, affiliate platforms, sales materials, events and trade show materials
  • Develop and edit photos, reels, and other image assets as needed
  • Collaborate with agency partners and other stakeholders to amplify efforts across channels
  • Measure content performance using quality KPIs and optimize based on performance insights
  • Deliver concise, digestible performance reports to Marketing Director and Leadership Team
  • Provide general marketing support for the brand as needed, with cross functional support for product development, operations and customer service
  • Evaluate emerging trends and technologies, providing thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Report to and act as backup for Marketing Director

REQUIREMENTS

  • Well rounded product marketer with 5-10 years of experience in beauty, wellness, spa, or a combination
  • Keen eye for high design/fashion and a natural affinity for the luxury market
  • Skilled in content strategy, creation and storytelling across websites, paid advertising, social media, email, blogs, press releases, and sales collateral
  • Sophisticated, engaging copywriter and editor with passion for beauty/wellness/spa
  • Strong creative chops with images, videos, and scripts, including creation, editing, and vendor oversight
  • Deep understanding of social media, influencer and affiliate marketing
  • Genuine relationship builder with kind, clear interactions and positive attitude
  • Polished communicator, comfortable in the room with world famous names
  • Data and results-driven with an aptitude for analytics
  • Organized and capable project manager
  • Hungry for growth, excited by new challenges and new problems to solve

COMPENSATION

  • $70-$75k/year, DOE

All potential candidates will be required to complete a test to determine their ability to accomplish and excel at the job. If you are selected be prepared to undergo a 2-3 hour non-paid interview and test.

LOCATION

  • Company is in Denver/Boulder, Colorado area. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.

HOURS

  • Core business hours are from 9-5 Mountain Time.
  • Required availability within 3 hours +/- core business hours as needed, as well as weekend social media monitoring.

  • Hiring is expected to close in May.
  • Start date is immediate.
