Cobb Energy Centre is a premier venue for Broadway shows, ballet, concerts, educational shows, family performances, opera, corporate meetings, and events. Conveniently located in northwest Atlanta, at 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway at Akers Mill Road, adjacent to I-75 inside I-285.

We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Coordinator will work across departments to establish and ensure proper messaging to help reach company objectives. The position will manage and curate the Centre’s social media channels, maintain content on the Centre’s website, coordinate email communications and assist with marketing performances. This position also provides marketing support for ArtsBridge Foundation. Position reports to the Director of Marketing and Sponsorships.

Typical Work Routine Includes But Not Limited To:

Manage company digital and social media presence online:

  • Curate and manage social media presence on relevant sites
  • Manage content and facilitate activity on company sites to establish consistency of messaging and increase visitation
  • Track customer responses and analyze online conversations
  • Create website and social media analytics reports with insights
  • Assist in monitoring brand messaging, and moderate community questions, comments and feedback

Implement a comprehensive social media strategy:

  • Strategize with, and educate staff on the need to incorporate business activities on relevant social media sites
  • Define social media programs and activities that will increase visibility and traffic across company brands
  • Identify new opportunities to leverage social media activities and build customer base
  • Identify improvements needed to achieve goals related to marketing campaigns
  • Research competition, trends, tools, and applications that will positively enhance branding efforts

Assist with venue, foundation and performance marketing activities:

  • Localize, format and deploy marketing assets for venue including on site and advertising
  • Create and deploy venue e-communications
  • Assist with performance advertising settlements
  • Serve as secondary point of contact for media inquiries
  • Assist with writing newsletter and press release content
  • Communicate and network with area businesses and residents about the venue
  • Create brand awareness
  • Coordinate and attend special events; i.e. pre-show social media activities, meet/greets, VIP receptions, promotions

Group Sales:

  • Create and manage pro-active outbound group sales marketing initiatives to increase group sales to performances at the Centre
  • Create and maintain database of group sales contacts

Minimum Qualifications:

College graduate with at least 2 years successful marketing

  • Experience with web-based multimedia technologies, web video and audio production and preparation for multi-media distribution
  • Experience and facility with a variety of applications and platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite , MS Office, HTML, and content management systems, social networks, blogs, wikis, search engines.   • Strong professional written communication skills
  • Independent worker, creative thinker, outgoing, goal driven.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
