Summary: The Marketing Coordinator works to assist project management teams in organizing projects with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget. A Marketing Coordinator is an administrative professional who assists project managers with organizing and controlling project activities through communicating risks, opportunities, and current state of the project. They fulfill their obligations by coordinating meetings, resources, equipment, and information. This position relies heavily on the ability to accurately follow directions, thoroughly research, address and communicate employee, program and customer related needs and concerns per established standards and timeframes.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year project management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the development project lifecycle, Agile methodology and experience in Scrum is preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Project Management applications (MS Project, JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.).
Licenses and Certifications:
CAPM, PMP and/or ScrumMaster certification preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Work cooperatively and effectively with executive management to ensure the continued success of the Company
- Direct mail management and maintain candidate database
- Data entry in Google Docs for upcoming inContact email campaigns
- Design and run monthly marketing campaigns
- Work creatively with manager and executive team to refresh digital materials
- Set up meeting and coordinate travel
- Provide secondary quality checks for all correspondence, ensuring adherence to client’s policy and procedure for all fulfillment items prior to mailing, faxing or e-mail.
- Coordinate project priorities while taking direction from multiple staff
- Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings
- Provide administrative support as needed across multiple departments
- Maintain and update Company social media pages, website, and content
- Respond courteously, professionally, and efficiently to team or client requests, following standard operating procedures for Diligent and client
- Complete appropriate training, including project In-Services and client provided training.
- Maintain accurate and complete project records, monitor direct costs, and tracks project revenues and profit
- Assist with preparation of proposals when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
