Job Summary
Stone Security Engineering is searching for a Marketing Strategy Manager to be based in New York or Washington, DC offices. The role of Marketing Strategy Manager will play a key role in the planning and execution of Stone's Business Development and Marketing initiatives. As such, the individual will work closely with senior leadership and be involved in the marketing strategy, client development, market research, qualification package development, and corporate event planning. Additionally, the Marketing Strategy Manager ensures the strategies, branding, and communications are in full alignment and in support of Stone's overall business objectives.
This role, which reports directly to the Vice President & Director of Business Development, requires full understanding of an integrated marketing and business development plan. The Marketing Strategy Manager will recommend budgets, track metrics, plan and execute events, and will play an integral role in the overall growth of Stone Security Engineering.
In order to be successful in this role the applicant must have prior experience in utilizing federal and state government databases to extract engineering and construction opportunities and market research data.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Market research regarding public and private design and design-build calendars and initiatives and prospective clients aligned with the upcoming initiatives.
- Assist in developing and executing the marketing strategy and integrated campaign planning, ensuring brand awareness, audience engagement and lead generation.
- Maintain a working knowledge of public and private solicitation and vendor sites.
- Manage proposal process and qualification package development. Working with Project Managers & Technical Leads to prepare materials, including qualifications, brochures, presentations, social media posts, and email newsletters.
- Manage Company's social media, email marketing, and website marketing efforts.
- Support a re-branding effort for marketing collateral.
- Develop and coordinate graphics, write and edit layout materials.
- Assist with marketing budget development and monitoring.
- Keep all Customer and Opportunity documentation updated in SharePoint and our CRM program.
- Support and manage production, organization, and upkeep of project descriptions, team resumes, file assets, past proposal content, and marketing template repositories/libraries.
- Manage conference attendance and booths.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Successful skills & qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or other relevant degree
- Prior experience working for engineering consulting or construction firms supporting their marketing and strategy planning
- Experience in tracking upcoming projects and contacting prospective clients for those projects.
- Experience in proposal planning and coordination
- Writing ability, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to handle tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job success
- Quick self-starter, with ability to work cross-functionally
- Works well with little supervision, displays initiative, independent thinking, and teamwork
- Understanding of marketing techniques (i.e., layout, graphics, written communication, planning)
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and inform and drive business decisions with analytics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft teams, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Pro
Requirements:
- Prior experience in utilizing federal and state government databases to extract engineering and construction opportunities and market research data
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint
- Experience with event planning
- Ability to travel, to NY, DC, OR, when required
