Job Description:

WellSpring is seeking candidates for the position of Massage Therapy Program Manager for its location in Kansas City, Missouri. Candidates must demonstrate success as both an instructor and administrator. Experience in health and wellness career training; is a definite plus.

Job Duties:

The Massage Therapy Program Manager is the lead instructor for the massage therapy program. They also manage and ensure the success of the program from both an academic and business perspective. The administrative components of the position include:

• Monitoring delivery of the curriculum
• Developing and evaluating program faculty
• Counseling students
• Coordinating with students and employers to ensure timely placement in their new career
• Compassion for both the field of massage and for those entering the field

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy program
• Minimum of three (3) years’ teaching or occupational experience in Massage Therapy
• Associates's Degree by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the Department of Education
• Current license to practice Massage Therapy in the state of Missouri.
• The ideal candidate will be highly personable, outgoing and must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have excellent interpersonal abilities and a track record of achieving results by working with other people.
