SUMMARY

The Master Scheduler will be directly responsible for coordinating planning and production related activities between the Planning Departments and the Production Managers at Tabler Station. In depth understanding of production planning requirements and the management o customer demand is necessary to the success of this role. The Master Scheduler reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

This position will be responsible to strategize, manage, and lead planning related activities to ensure production has resources, both machines and personnel, available to meet the demand requirements developed by the Planners. Additionally, it will identify and develop solutions to improve capabilities through demand planning, in-feed requirements, data creation, and schedule coordination

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping, GMP practices and Global Food Safety practices.

· Assist in management of internal and external planning activities including production planning to maintain sustained service levels

· Coordinate with Production Managers, Planners, Maintenance and Quality to match resources to demand

· Develop production plans to optimize human and capital resources and ensure service level targets are met

· Coordinate production planning with training, preventative maintenance (Mold & Equipment) & Qualification/Trials

· Ensure the accuracy of SAP reports, master data, and Bills of Material (BOM)

· Create, organize, and disseminate required Supply Chain reports when necessary

· Participate in monthly physical inventory counts and reconciliations

· Update production capacity based on equipment OEE and other inputs affecting capacity

· Manage NPI inventory, rework and regrind activities

· Other duties as assigned by manager

COMPENTENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

· 5-7 years relevant industry experience in production planning and operations

· Supervisory experience preferred

· Good interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to communicate with management, customers, vendors and peers cross-departmentally

· Able to work flexible and/or extended hours and weekends as business demands

· Advanced experience with MS Excel

· Proficient with remining MS suite of products to include teams, word, etc.

· Experience with SAP or other MRP/ERP systems

· Strong problem-solving capability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
