Plant 22 Thomson -Heatset Material Handler - C Shift $16.21/hr
Position Overview
.
To transport yarn from Twisting to Heatset, and related duties.
Essential Duties (considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge, and responsibility):
Complies with procedures found in Job Requirement Book. Performs all job duties using safe work methods. Complies with Corporate Absenteeism and Tardiness Policy. Works normally scheduled days adhering to starting and stopping times. Works overtime as required. Comply with all environmental procedures and programs. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Perform daily assignments and housekeeping duties (in staging areas) and cut off areas. Keep the Plastic Tube Storage area clean and organized. Pushes buggies to stage areas or heatset creels from Twisting. Pushes empty buggies back to Twisting/Staging area or to Maintenance station if they are in need to be cleaned. Cut off Heatset Creel RTV. (Any package over 2” needs to reviewed by Twisting Supervisor before cutting it off) Handle Twisting EOL Tube Waste. Move plastic tubes from Heatset creels to Twisting. Move plastic tubes from Heatset creels &/or Twisting to Warehouse at EOL. Cut off Twisting EOL if not enough tubes to fill up Box. Maintain Buggy wheels on assigned buggies. As needed empty plastic tubes from u-buggies to bins in warehouse. Refer to Heatset Buggy Pusher Daily Assignment (
RQF5402
) as a guide to help prioritize task in order to maintain a stable and standard work flow.

12 Hr rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Act Calendar, shift starts PM, days change only
