Mechanics

This position is required to travel around the Southeast Louisiana area including Bell Chasse, LA to Venice and Cocodrie.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting in the performance of corrective and preventive maintenance activities
• Willing to be responsible for all repair work in the respective areas
• Ensuring that corrective maintenance work is executed in a safe and competent manner in compliance with Company HSE policies
• Providing accurate feedback to planners and schedulers as to completeness of job packets, planning and scheduling
• Willing to be the technical field resource for corrective maintenance
• Assisting with equipment trouble shooting
• Assisting with defect elimination process and RCA
• Identifying maintenance work and initiating SAP work notifications
• Participating in pre-start up safety reviews
• Developing close working relationship with field personnel to promote safety and ensure quality workmanship
• Utilizing and promoting Safety Leadership skills and tools, ie;JSA, Back to Basics, Go Cards, STOP
• Being proactive in developing new opportunities to execute corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance to achieve lower costs
• Working with Planners and Schedulers in the development of corrective and preventive maintenance work order distribution and scheduling
• Assisting with condition monitoring
• Working with the maintenance organization to strive towards Reliability Centered Maintenance
• Set the example by participating in all safety training and being the Safety leader to ensure Company safety policies and procedures are adhered to

Basic/Required:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
• 7+ years’ experience in the US oil and gas industry
• Willing and able (with or without a reasonable accommodation) to travel up to 5%

Preferred:

• Extensive knowledge of oil and gas operations, measurement and surface facilities operations and maintenance.
• Leadership ability in safety, environmental and regulatory practices.
• Proficient (perform the skill with limited assistance) with Word, Excel, SAP, and SCADA programs such as CYGNET.
• Petroleum Technology Degree
• 1+ years' direct experience you have in field maintenance and contractor crew activities.
• Transmits information so it is received and understood in the way it was intended
• Actively communicates and takes time to safely perform work to protect our people and environment
• 7+ years’ experience in the following areas:
• Reading gauges
• Taking instrument readings
• Monitoring chemical levels
• Preventative maintenance on equipment
• Pumps
• Seals
• Fans
• Reciprocating compressors
• Centrifugal compressors
• Gearboxes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
