Mosebach Manufacturing Company, a well-established electrical power equipment manufacturer, based in the South Hills (Upper Saint Clair/Bridgeville) of Pittsburgh is currently looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our manufacturing team!

THE CAREER

• Create in-process materials and final, finished products by assembling parts from electrical and mechanical drawings or written instructions; use hand tools, power tools, basic machine shop tools and presses.
• Ensure builds are completed in a timely manner while maintaining a consistently high-quality rate.
• Report job progress to supervisors as needed; document actions and work by completing required records.
• Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Education: Required: High School Graduate or GED; Preferred: Associate degree or two-year technical degree from an accredited college, university, or technical school.
• Experience: Required: One year of previous assembly or manufacturing experience; Preferred: Five years of assembly, manufacturing, or troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to learn the use of presses and machine shop tools; previous experience preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings; previous experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere and demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of standing for long periods of time, frequently stooping or kneeling and reaching, and carrying, pushing, pulling, and lifting over 50 lbs.
• Must pass a criminal background check and a drug test.

Mosebach Manufacturing Company is a union employer. The hired candidate must join the IAM Local Lodge 52 after 90 days of employment and pay dues pursuant to the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
