Driverge Vehicle Innovations, is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Fabricator / Welder. We provide a great work life balance with regular business hours so you can be home spending time with family or doing what you love most! If you love the auto industry and working with cars this job is for you!

The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for establishing process and fixturing required for new vehicle builds. Work with engineering and operations to set-up new features and vehicle models. This includes building sub-assemblies to be installed in vans or fabricating parts from raw metal to make assemblies work. Proving out installation methods prior to releasing to production. Create fixtures from engineered drawings or parts to ease installation during production.

What you get to accomplish:

• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Able to cut, weld, build and inspect welding equipment for durability.
• Must be comfortable using tools MIG welder, plasma cutters, grinders, chop saws, drills, and tape measure, blueprints, torque wrenches, ratchets, sockets, wrenches, impacts and recognize welding symbols and specifications.
• Identify problems prematurely and make corrections.
• Must have basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.

What you should posses:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Individuals with background/experience in any of the following - Manufacturing – Welding, Vocational School, Automotive – trade school experience, metal fabrication.
• Complete a weld test during interview.
• 5+ years of metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Can physically meet the demands of the job and have an eye for detail.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Valid/Active Driver's license required.
