Description

Responsibility includes design and implementation of refrigeration (mechanical) systems for industrial and commercial facilities. Includes conceptual design and budgeting, perform calculations and size components, detailed design, P&ID and Layout drawings, and Specifications. Person will coordinate with other disciplines and manage the project installation and commissioning. Develop and implement Process Safety Management (PSM) Programs for customers.

Essential Functions

· Using AutoCAD for design including P&IDs and layout drawings. 3D experience is not required but preferred.

· Meeting with both client and internal project teams to define applications and produce functional specification documents.

· Component selection and bill of material preparation.

· Interact with electrical engineering, control panel fabrication and electrical installation personnel.

Experience and Skills

· Refrigeration design in Food Storage and Processing

· International Mechanical Code

· IIAR Standards

· AutoCAD

· Microsoft Office

Requirements

Minimum 2-5 year experience with BS in Mechanical Engineering. FE and/or PE license is a benefit. Industrial refrigeration experience preferable.
