New Journey AI/Genesis10 is actively seeking a Mechatronics Junior Technician resource for a Contract to Hire position with our client located in Seattle, WA.
As a Mechatronic Junior Technician (MJT), you will configure and conduct tests on Just-Walk-Out technology. You work to combine testing, electronic, mechanical, computer and control skills.

As a Mechatronic Junior Technician (MJT), you will configure and conduct tests on Just-Walk-Out technology. You work to combine testing, electronic, mechanical, computer and control skills.
Responsibilities:
- Follow test instructions, working independently to conduct tests and record results
- Set-up electronic test equipment, mechanical systems, and computers
- Diagnose equipment set-up issues
- Initiate automated testing by running scripts from a command-line, recording and reporting results, and archiving data files
- Manual measurement of electrical parameters
- Routine technical troubleshooting of computer-based test set-ups
- Work with complex test systems and are able to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair systems to maintain process efficiency
Basic Qualifications:
- An associate’s degree in electronics/electrical engineering/mechatronics or 2+ years of experience working with electronics and electro-mechanical systems
- Able to use basic electronic test equipment and make accurate measurements of electrical circuits
- Strong verbal/written communication and listening skills
- Familiarity with robotic and/or automated mechanical test equipment
- Able to solder/rework/repair electronic circuits, including SMT
