Job Description


Razorfish is seeking a Media Planner! The Media Planner is responsible for the plan development of offline traditional media (i.e. TV, Print, Radio, OOH etc.) as well as the general oversight of campaign management for their team. This individual serves as the team lead on campaign-related topics and tasks, and are generally responsible for high profile requests for proposals (RFPs), maintaining successful relationships with day-to-day client contacts while also participating in the mentoring and training of new and junior-level staff members

Core Responsibilities

  • Campaign proposal response and plan development
  • Planning - Determine appropriate audience selection, provide rationale supporting plan decisions, and deliver to client for approval
  • Research – Review our Performance Library tool or previous wrap-up reports for insights on which targets have historically been top performers for campaign objective
  • High level of client exposure and communication throughout campaign development process and during pitch work.
  • Working with other members of the media team on specific non-campaign initiatives relating to a variety of business needs (e.g. process updates, product rollouts, resource captain, etc)
  • Act as point person to determine product and/or process next steps, coordination and ideation with clients, and ultimately assist in disseminating decisions across our team

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year, accredited college or university.
  • 1-3 yrs experience in offline/traditional Media activation (TV, Print, Radio, OOH) and planning, agency experience is prefered
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PPT) and ability to adapt to/learn new technologies
  • Has demonstrated strong relational skills (clients, internal team, and partners)
  • Has the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Has demonstrated quality control of their own work
  • Has shown emerging managerial potential
  • Experience analyzing data and market research
  • Proficient in the use of third-party tools and developed the ability to field questions/offer advice regarding how tools should be leveraged
  • Strong attention to detail, and comfortable working within a rigid process structure with a high degree of autonomy
