Medical Economics Analyst

We are currently seeking a Medical Economics Analyst!

Job Summary:

The MedEcon Analyst will use their expertise and skills to participate in the development of new care and payment models. Candidates for this position will have health care economics experience within a large payer and experience providing data-driven guidance to leaders and network providers that goes beyond aggregating data.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and updating tools used for managing the business and making decisions on pricing episodes of care and provider network agreements
• Work with the Company’s analytics team to understand historical claims expenses to propose episode-based pricing to the Company’s partners
• Analyze network pricing strategies and historical claims data to advise on impacts of various scenarios
• Evaluate alternative payment and care model impacts on quality and costs of care
