We are looking for a Front office coordinator for a fast growing Multidiscipline Physical Medicine Facility located in both Anderson and Greenville, SC. to manage our reception area. The highly skilled staff at Palmetto Physical Medicine combine medical practitioners, medical assistants, chiropractors, massage therapists, rehabilitation specialists and many other medical experts all under one roof. We are currently in need of an enthusiastic, outgoing, career driven individual to help us expand our practice and continue to offer the highest level of care to our patients in the surrounding area. You will act as the ‘face’ of our company and ensure patients receive a heartwarming welcome. It is expected that the selected candidate will reflect and project our core values and healthy choices, serving as a credible source of information and instruction to our local community. Candidates who are confident, coachable, and eager to help others experience better health are encouraged to apply.
Minimum 2 years front office/management experience will be helpful. Training will be done on sight and virtual. A hunger to learn is just as valuable as a veteran in the field. The fast paced, exciting environment of our office relies heavily on our team approach to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support office staff
- Schedule Patients
- Handle complaints and specific customers requests
- Monitor stock and order office supplies
- Ensure proper mail and fax distribution
- Answering patient phone calls
- Explain specific medically required documentation and send forms to new patients
- Keeping an open line of communications between all departments and staff
- Making patients feel welcome and comfortable when they call into our office.
- Having the ability to remember names will be helpful
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Front desk manager or Reception manager
- Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management and basic bookkeeping procedures
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
- Some knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- High School diploma; additional certification is a plus

M: 8:30 am -- 6:00 pm (Break 12:00-1:40)
T: 1:00 pm -- 6:00 pm
W: 8:30 am -- 6:00 pm (Break 12:00-1:40)
R: 8:30 am -- 6:00 pm (Break 12:00-1:00)
F: 8:30 am -- 2:00 pm
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.50 - $20.00 per hour
