Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our laboratory team who will foster an environment of teamwork, quality and safety for our patients. What You Will Do In This Role:

• You will perform manual and automated test procedures.
• You will accurately report laboratory results, to include special calculations and critical values.
• You will perform a broad range of laboratory procedures or concentrates your activities in one area such as chemisty, hematology, and microbiology.
• You will answer inquiries regarding tests, methodology, test specificity and sensitivity.
• You will evaluate and solve problems related to the collection and processing of biological specimens for analysis
• You will work efficiently and respond to stats and other priority tests to provide optimum patient care.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or closely related area, required.
• MLT (ASCP) or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
