CMRS is a company specializing in working with physicians in the worker's compensation arena, as well as with personal injury claims and process the transcription, review the medical records for the reports and perform the disabliity ratings.

We need record reviewers and anyone who has worked as a transcriptionist in the work comp arena will be excellent for this job.

Job requirements:

I am looking for at-home reviewers to summarize the records chronologically, bookmark the PDF files and produce a Word document with the summarized records.

• Know how to type-work as a transcriptionist currently or in the past
• Know the English language, grammar and spelling
• Windows preferred (Mac system is not)
• Hours are flexible depending on the work load
• Experience with medical records and experience with summarizing them for reports
• Medical terminology knowledge a must.
• Use of Foxit/Adobe programs for bookmarking and manipulating files
• Use of Word, able to format and work with different formats easily and efficiently
• Medical transcription background is helpful
• If you have a business license and another client you may work as an independent contractor, otherwise you will be an employee of CMRS.
• Knowledge of IMEs, QMEs, AMEs, PTPs a plus
