The Carmelite Sisters came to the Palm Beaches in 1960. Later named the Lourdes-Noreen McKeen Residence, the Faith-Based facility was the first of its kind in the area to provide nursing, long-term and seasonal housing for the elderly, all with the signature type of care that distinguished the order's approach from others.

We are looking for an experienced - Medical Technician - Assisted Living Community FULL-TIME.

** Shift hours are: 11a to 7p **

Medical Technician - Assisted Living Community Job Summary:

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, toileting, and/or transferring as needed
• Assist residents with the management of self administered medication.
• Assist and participates with socialization of residents.
• Serve food trays and assist with the set up of the meals as instructed.
• Assist residents to the dining areas and prepares for meals.
• Initiate CPR or other emergency intervention for residents as needed.
• Attend and participate in the required in-service class on Assistance with Self Administered Medications.

Medical Technician - Assisted Living Community Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Unencumbered Nursing Assistant Certificate - CNA, or Home Health Aide from the State of Florida.

• Proof of COVID19 Vaccination Required.

• Must have worked as a CNA or Home Health Aide under the supervision of a licensed nurse within the past two years.
• CPR certified.
• Must have successful completion of training in Assistance with Self Administered Medication.
