Position: Member Service Agent I (MSA)
Reports to: Member Services Supervisor
Classification: Non-exempt

Pay: $18.00/hour plus incentives

In this role, you will assist members and potential members by providing solutions to their financial needs. You will demonstrate extensive knowledge of all of Peoples Advantage FCU’s products and services. As a part of a team that serves a unique population, you will play a vital role in living our mission to the highest standards and maintaining the valued trust of our members and communities.

MSA’s are the face of the credit union. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing and ever changing industry. This role is critical to the growth of the credit union as we develop and uncover new ways to assist our members with meeting their financial goals.

Every MSA has his/her own performance objectives that are based on ensuring the best member experience, which includes listening to and helping our members make the best financial decisions by providing appropriate recommendations and asking for their business.

This exciting role includes:

• Develop a relationship with every member to uncover if they are taking advantage of all PAFCU has to offer- yes, this means offering them loans and solutions that fit their needs!
• Providing excellent member service in a fast paced, team oriented environment
• Going above and beyond to greet members and show them we care, and we value their membership
• Precision in transaction processing by following procedures, paying attention to detail, and exerting patience
• Accurately maintaining and balancing your cash drawer
• Pleasantly assist members through all channels, including walk-in, telephone and electronic communication

• MSA’s regularly participate in on the job training, including role playing and active coaching to increase your member solutions effectiveness.
• You will often work on assignments that are routine in nature and will require you to analyze transactions to ensure the member and the credit union is safeguarded.
• Completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent
• Previous cash handling experience is highly encouraged
